About IEEE SMC 2027 & HCM-UTE
IEEE SMC 2027 is the flagship global conference on systems science and engineering, human–machine systems, and cybernetics, hosted by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering-Vietnam (HCM-UTE) on October 6–10, 2027.
Under the theme “Human-AI Symbiosis: Engineering Intelligent, Autonomous, and Sustainable Futures”, the conference convenes international researchers and innovators across AI, human–AI collaboration, autonomous systems, robotics, digital twins, cyber-physical systems, and trustworthy AI.

Submission Categories & Guidelines
The 2027 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (IEEE SMC 2027) invites original research papers, special session papers, workshop proposals, and tutorial presentations in systems science and engineering, human–machine systems, and cybernetics.
Submission Format & Language
All submissions must be in English. The full papers are to be submitted electronically in PDF format via the PaperCept submission system link (will be coming shortly).
IEEE Xplore® Digital Library Publication
Accepted and presented papers will be copyrighted to IEEE and published in conference proceedings, which will be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, once it meets the requirements of an IEEE quality review.

Regular Research Papers
Original research contributions presenting novel theory, experimental validations, or major system architectures in SSE, CYB, or HMS.

Special Session Papers
Targeted research papers submitted to approved special sessions exploring focused multidisciplinary problems.
